Tokyo Ghoul Season 3 Release Date Delayed For a While

Tokyo Ghoul is the television anime adaptation of Japanese dark fantasy manga series by Sui Ishida. The second season was aired between January 2015, to March 2015. In North America, Funimation was licenced for the streaming and home video distribution of the dubbed version. And in Australia, the anime was obtained for digital distribution by Madman Entertainment. It’s about time, Tokyo Ghoul season 3 came out but there’s a fresh rumour suggesting, the third season is delayed due to production related problems. While we wait for the anime series, there’s a live-action movie coming up in the summer of 2017.

There’s no fixed date as to when Tokyo Ghoul Season 3 will return!

The manga, Tokyo Ghoul began serializing in Shueisha’s seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Jump between 2011 and 2014. Its sequel came out with the title “Tokyo Ghoul:re”. And the prequel was titled, “Tokyo Ghoul Jack” that ran online on Jump Live.

Both seasons of the anime adaptation had 12 episodes, created by studio Pierrot and aired on Tokyo MX. Besides the manga and the anime series, there are three light novels, written by Shin Towada, and illustrations by the series creator Sui Ishida. A live-action film based on the manga is rolling out in 2017. A video game titled “Tokyo Ghoul: Carnaval” was released for Android and iOS users and another game titled “Tokyo Ghoul: Jail” was introduced to PlayStation Vita console players.

To recall in Tokyo Ghoul Season 3, fans were beyond shocked to learn Hide’s demise. Following this Kaneki promises to become everyone’s saviour and it remains to be seen what happens next. There is no Tokyo Ghoul season 3 release date yet, but the internet is rife with rumours as to what the next season will hold for fans. Quite possibly, it will revolve around the events, that took place at “Tokyo Ghoul: re” manga where Kaneki will continue his goal of trying to make it possible for humans and ghouls to live together in harmony.

Despite being one of the most awaited anime of the year, there’s no news regarding when Tokyo Ghoul season 3 will air.
